Rune Levels and Upgrading:
Every rune has a level 1 in starting. But their power doesn’t stop there, you can upgrade them to a higher level
if you want to upgrade runes, you’ll need rune shards, which you can collect throughout the game. Each upgrade enhances the rune’s effect and after upgrading the rune other useful stats will be added to the rune
Max Level: Most runes can be upgraded to level 10, at which point they achieve their maximum potential.
Rune Synergy with knights
Before equipping a rune to your knights, always check the knight’s specialty because for defensive knight red rune will be a good choice, If you want to play with attacking knights then blue runes are good
Rune Combinations: Some runes work better in tandem. For example, combining an attack speed rune (green) with an offensive power rune (blue) can be more effective than two blue runes.
Rune Placement and Strategy:
Positioning: Not all rune slots are the same. Some might offer a higher percentage increase than others. Always prioritize placing your best runes in these slots.
Changing Strategy: Depending on the battle scenario, it might be beneficial to switch out your runes. For a defensive battle, stack more red runes. If you’re on the offensive, blue and green combinations might work best.
How to Choose & Equip Runes:
Align runes with a knight’s inherent strengths or cover their weaknesses.
Knights have stats that can be boosted by runes; for instance, Bernard is a tank character, so boosting his defense and HP with runes is beneficial.
Runes are flexible; e.g., you can stack multiple defense runes on a tanky character.
Healers, for example, can benefit from HP runes.
Rune Tips
Experiment: The game allows for rune combinations and placements to be changed freely. Experiment often to find the best setup for your playstyle.
Special Runes: Occasionally, special event runes are released. These can provide unique benefits not found in regular runes. Always be on the lookout and try to acquire them when possible.
Runes significantly impact team-building strategies, especially in late game.
Optimal rune allocation can make knights considerably stronger, e.g., Bernard was enhanced to have increased defense and HP from runes.
Experiment with various rune combinations to find what works best for each knight.
Remember to always be aware of the knight’s role, e.g., Hilda, a tank that can benefit from defense boosts.
