Eku Uekura and Sanrio Collaboration Goods Available

Sanrio is collaborating with artist Eku Uekura on a series of merchandise. You will be able to purchase them in Sanrio shops around Japan, as well as in the online Sanrio Anime Store. The Eku Uekura collaboration features a series of original anime girls hugging the Sanrio mascots that inspired their appearances.

Eku Uekura is an illustrator who previously worked on Little Witch Academia: The Nonsensical Witch and the Country of Fairies. This is a light novel adaptation of Little Witch Academia. Uekura has also worked provided art for the Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest Comic Anthology, Rakugaki Gakugeikai, and Tales of Zestiria Comic Anthology. You can check out her Pixiv here.

As for the merchandise that you can buy from this collaboration, there are:

  • Acrylic figure: 1925 JPY
  • Acrylic keyholder: 1100 JPY each, 6600 JPY set
  • Clear folder: 900 JPY each
  • Compact mirror: 1870 JPY
  • Heart-shaped pass case: 1980 JPY
  • Holographic heart-shaped can badges: 605 JPY each, 7260 JPY set
  • Postcard holder: 1760 JPY
  • Tote bag: 2750 JPY

The Sanrio mascots that appear are Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and Little Twin Stars.

The Eku Uekura and Sanrio collaboration merchandise are available in Sanrio stores around Japan, as well as in the online Sanrio store, for a limited time. Sanrio is also running a collaboration with Hatsune Miku, with merchandise such as tote bags and pouches.
